It's Saturday night. Movie night.


Everyone squeezes into the family car and heads out to see a motion picture.


On arriving, though, everyone stays put in the car and settles in to watch a good movie.


The Star-Vu Drive-In in Costa Mesa is a trip down memory lane for those old enough to remember watching a movie from a car.


There have been some changes since the drive-in's heyday, when there were more than 4,000 drive-in theaters in the country.
