Annual Halloween Event Features Vampire Poets, Giant Pumpkin Carving, Hearse Show and Procession and More!
10TH ANNUAL TRICK OR TREAT FESTIVAL-Sunday, October 28 at The Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa (Fairgrounds), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Includes:
Free trick or treating for kids in costume from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
World renown pumpkin sculptor “Farmer” Mike Valladao returns to carve three- dimensional masterpieces out of 400 plus pound pumpkins including a green Frankenstein;
8th annual Hearse Procession and Show;
Procession through Costa Mesa at 10 a.m. with radio personality Dr. Demento as grand marshal;
Dr. Demento “Festival of Dementia” shows and autograph sessions;
Gothic Parodies and Poetry presented by the League of Vampiric Bards;
Freaky Follies puppet show;
Pumpkin pie eating contests;
Heebie and Jeebie comedic music duo;
Blood drive to support Southern California hospitals;
Free face painting and much more.
Admission to the swap meet is $2 for ages 13 years and over and free for kids 12 and under. All Halloween events are included with admission.
